Despatch of goods
Prices shown on our site include delivery to UK mainland only, and delivery is to kerbside during normal working hours. Our carriers will require a signature on delivery to ensure security of your goods before you receive them. Goods are ordered once your order has been received and will be dispatched as soon as they are available. We aim to have the products with you within 10 working days, however in certain circumstances this may need to be increased. If this is the case, you will be contacted by email and given the option to cancel or change your order. If you require an urgent delivery or a delivery at a certain time in the day then please contact us on 01924 470757 with your order.

Cancellation and returns
If you would like to cancel an order then please contact us and we will endeavor to help. There may be a restocking charge made if goods have already been sent from our supplier. If goods have been delivered you will have to return them to YCE at your own cost.

Colours and specifications
Details such as colour are limited by the monitor on which they are displayed and as such may differ slightly from the actual product received. Specifications are correct at time of upload but are subject to change. If you need confirmation then please contact us before ordering

Warranty
All equipment is covered by a manufacturers warranty. We only supply goods which are covered by both a parts and labour warranty for at least one year. Certain products have a longer warranty period than this. In the event of a fault, please contact us on 01924 470757 and our service team will assist you.

Installation
Our online prices do not include the cost of installation. Some of our products are simple plug in items but others will require the services of a trained professional. All gas appliances should be installed by a registered Corgi engineer. If you require installation please contact us with your order on 01924 470757.

Privacy and security
All information received via our website is subject to our privacy policy

Prices
All prices for goods and delivery are shown on our website. These are checked on a frequent basis but in the unlikely event of an incorrect price being shown we reserve the right to amend the price. Where an order has been made on an incorrect price, we will contact you before we deliver the goods. All prices are subject to VAT at the rate ruling at time of order. This is added automatically before payment is made. Prices shown on our site are for online purchase only. This is because we incur less costs when processing an online order. Therefore prices will be slightly higher for products ordered in our showroom or by fax/telephone.

Our standard terms and conditions will be sent out to you following delivery. A copy can be found below for your information:

YCE STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Contract
The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts between YCE ("the Firm") and its customers. The contract is made when the Firm accepts the Customer's order, whether orally or in writing.
2. Particulars
The Firm has agreed to supply and the Customer has agreed to purchase the goods specified overleaf ("the Goods") at the price stated.
3. Delivery
(a) The Firm will seek to comply with the delivery instructions set out overleaf before the specified delivery date (if any), however  any date given is an estimate only, and failure to comply with that date shall not entitle the Customer to terminate the contract.
(b) The Customer shall examine the Goods promptly upon delivery and if any claim is to be made that any Goods have been lost  or damaged in transit, the Customer must notify the Firm of such claim within 3 days of the date of delivery to the Customer,   his carrier or agent. This time limit must be observed so that the Firm has the opportunity to interview staff and sub-contractors  an the claim generally, whilst information is readily available.
(c) Included in the stated price is the cost of the packing cases for the Goods; however full credit will be given in respect of packing
cases returned to the Firm in a good and re-useable condition, within 14 days of the date of delivery.
4. Interest and Payment
The Firm has the right to charge interest at the rate of 2% per calendar month on the outstanding amount of the purchase price for the Goods, which interest shall accrue from day to day with affect from the date of invoice; however, if payment in full is received within 30 days of the date of invoice such interest shall be waived by the Firm.
5. Deposits
Where a deposit has been paid by the Customer such deposit shall not be returnable in any circumstances and may be retained by the Firm in addition to any other rights or remedies available to it.
6. Risk
The risk in the Goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery to him or to his carrier or agent, and the Customer should make appropriate provisions for insurance.
7. Title
The Goods shall remain the property of the Firm until they have been paid for in full. Until that time the Customer may retain the Goods for his own use but shall not purport to sell or part with possession of the Goods and shall not remove or obscure any label or serial number thereon which identifies the Goods as being the property of the Firm. Until the Goods have been paid for in full the Customer shall hold them as bailee for the Firm and the Firm shall have the right to enter onto any premises where the Goods are located, in order to regain possession thereof. For the purpose of this clause 7 payment for the Goods shall be deemed to
be due on the invoice date, notwithstanding any other agreement for deferred or delayed payment.
8. Warranty
(a) In the case of new goods the Firm shall pass on, and assign to the Customer the benefit of any transferable warranty or
guarantee given by the manufacturer of the Goods.
(b) In the case of Goods which are identified overleaf as being "Reconditioned" the Firm hereby grants a warranty in respect of   any defect therein which is notified to the Firm within 6 months of the date of invoice and which has not arisen through misuse  of the Goods or a failure to maintain the same in accordance with normal procedure.
9. Limitation of Liability
(a) The Company does not seek to limit its liability for personal injury or death resulting out of its negligent acts or omissions (if any).
(b) Subject to clause 9(a) the liability of the Firm for its negligence, or for breach of any contractual term, warranty or condition   (whether express or implied, by statute or howsoever otherwise) shall be limited to the price of the Goods stated overleaf;   and in the case of any claim made by a customer which is capable of being remedied by the repair or replacement of a    defective part, or parts, the Firm's liability in respect of any such claim shall be limited to an obligation to undertake such repair  or replacement free of charge.
(c) The Customer acknowledges that the Firm can have no knowledge of the possible extent of any consequential or financial   loss which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of negligence, or a breach of contract by the Firm, and that the    limitations set out herein are therefore reasonable.
10. Use of Goods
(a) The Customer acknowledges that he has satisfied himself that the Goods are satisfactory for his purpose.
(b) The Customer undertakes to ensure that the installation and use of the Goods will comply with all statutory or other rules or   regulations as to health and safety and the Customer agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified the Firm from and against   any liability which may arise as a result of any breach of such undertaking.
11. General
(a) References herein to individuals shall be construed where appropriate as including references to bodies corporate.
(b) Where the Customer is a firm, partnership or other unincorporated body of persons, references to "the Customer" shall be   references to each person comprised in such firm, partnership or unincorporated body jointly and severally.
(c) The Firm shall not be liable for any breach of contract, or for any other matter which arises out of circumstances or events  beyond the Firm's control.
